Montreal’s international airport-Sherbrooke shuttle
The travel agency Escapade Voyage 2000 offers a shuttle service between Montreal-Trudeau international airport and Sherbrooke for about 50$ CAD round trip if you reserve your plane ticket with their services.
If you prefer to by your plane ticket by yourself, the suttle is still available for 150$ CAD.

By plane
1. Montréal-Trudeau International Airport
After landing in Montreal, two options are available to travel to Sherbrooke: by bus or by rental car (see below) .
Travel time is about 2 h 30 by car.
If you choose the bus, you will have to go to the Central Bus Station located in downtown Montreal.
- 747 Express-Bus.
Service is provided by the Société de Transport de Montréal, 24/7.
The rate is 8 $ per person in exact change (no paper money accepted).
It takes about 40 minutes to go downtown.
- Taxi.
At the airport exit on the arrivals floor, a dispatcher will assign you a taxi. The Montreal-Trudeau to Downtown trip costs about 35,00 $ CAD.
When you arrive at the Central Bus Station, you must buy a bus ticket to get to Sherbrooke (see below).
2. Burlington International Airport (BTV), in Vermont
After landing in Burlington (VT), the main option to get to Sherbrooke is by rental car.
Sherbrooke is a 2h30 drive from Burlington.
By bus
The Limocar Bus Company offers frequent departures Monday through Friday from the Central Bus Station located at 505, boul. de Maisonneuve east (514 842-2281). Around four departures per day are available on Saturdays and Sundays. The trip takes about 2h30.
- One-way trip: ~ 36,00 $ CND
- Round trip: ~ 65,00$ CND
By car
From Burlington
Take Interstate I-89 North towards Winooski/St. Albans for about 65 kilometers.
You will then reach the Canada/U.S. border.
Drive for 15 kilometers on highway 133 North. Then, turn East on highway 202. Continue North towards Autoroute 10. Take Autoroute 10 East going to Sherbrooke.
Take exit 121 leading to Autoroute 55 South in the Vermont/Stanstead direction. Take exit 29 to highway 108 in the Sainte-Catherine-de-Hatley/Lennoxville direction. Continue on highway 108 East fo approximately 25 kilometers.
From Montreal
Take Champlain Bridge, continue on Autoroute 10 East for approximately 115 kilometers. Take exit 121 to Autoroute 55 South in the Vermont/Stanstead direction. Take exit 29 to highway 108 in the direction of Sainte-Catherine-de-Hatley/Lennoxville. Continue on highway 108 East for 25 kilometers.
From Quebec City
Take Pierre-Laporte Bridge, drive on Autoroute 20 West for approximately 140 kilometers.
Take exit 173 to Autoroute 55 South leading to Autoroute 91/Drummondville/ Sherbrooke / Vermont.
Then, take exit 58 to highway 222/Chemin des Écossais in the direction of Saint-Denis-de-Brompton. Take highway 143 South. Turn on Grandes Fourches street. Turn right on Aberdeen street (highway 143S) and then turn left on Wellington street (highway 143S). Continue for 5 kilometers.

Going to Bishop’s University
From downtown Sherbrooke
- Take a taxi to Bishop’s University

- Use Sherbrooke public transit.
Take bus line #2 at Dépôt station (located next to the bus station) and it twill take you directly to the Bishop’s University campus in 15 minutes.
From the Université de Sherbrooke campus
- Take a taxi to Bishop’s University
OR
- Use Sherbrooke public transit.
Take bus line #11 behind the Multifunctional pavilion on campus and it will take you to the Bishop’s University campus in 30 minutes.
From the Carrefour de l’Estrie Shopping Centre
- Take a taxi to Bishop’s University

- Use Sherbrooke public transit.
Take bus line #11 in front of the Carrefour de l’Estrie and i twill take you to the Bishop’s University campus in 40 minutes.
