Montreal Internatinal Jazz Festival

The Festival International de Jazz de Montréal (English: Montreal International Jazz Festival) is an annual jazz festival. Every year it features 3,000 artists from 30 countries, more than 650 concerts (including 450 free outdoor performances), close to 2.5 million visitors. The festival takes pace at 10 free outdoor stages and 10 indoor concert hall. (more information).
This year will be the 32nd edition of the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal.
L'international des feux Loto-Québec
Each week-end starting mid-June to mid-August
Each summer, eight or nine pyrotechnical companies from different countries present a 30-minute long pyromusical show, competing for the Gold, Silver and Bronze Jupiters or trophies. The event is held on the île Sainte-Hélene (next to the île Notre-Dame) (more information).
The Grand Prix du Canada
June 10 to June 12, 2011
It has been part of the Formula One World Championship since 1967. The event is held on the île Notre-Dame in Montreal which is really close to downtown. (more information).
During the Grand Prix week-end, the heat in Montreal downtown is something to live. The place to be during the week-end, when the race is not going on, is on Crescent streets. You will probably spot a Ferarri.
Les FrancoFolies de Montréal

Les FrancoFolies de Montréal is a large annual music and performance festival held in Downtown Montreal featuring over 1,000 French-language performers from all over the world, as well as attracting over 500,000 visitors. (more information).
