Exporting data from MtbRegList

Exporting root pattern information

1. Use the menu to navigate to Search->Annotated motifs;
2. Select the "root pattern" search type;
3. Use the checkboxes on the left to specify which fields you want to export (if a field has no checkbox, its data will be exported);
4. If desired, you may limit the results returned by specifying any search parameter;
5. Press "Submit";
6. At the bottom of the search results page, click on either "Save results in xml" or "Save results in tab delimited text", depending on your preference;
7. Save the file locally on your computer.

Exporting DNA motifs information

1. Use the menu to navigate to Search->Annotated motifs;
2. Select the "DNA motif" search type;
3. Use the checkboxes on the left to specify which fields you want to export (if a field has no checkbox, its data will be exported);
4. If desired, you may limit the results returned by specifying any search parameter;
5. Press "Submit";
6. At the bottom of the search results page, click on either "Save results in xml" or "Save results in tab delimited text", depending on your preference;
7. Save the file locally on your computer.

Note: To export non-regulation data (for example intergenic, coding or protein sequences, untranslated RNAs, etc.), use a similar technique but starting at the Search->Genome menu.
