Welcome to my professional on-line profile. I’m André Caron. I’m currently a graduate student at Université de Sherbrooke. I’m majoring in computer vision and minoring in image quality assessment. I’m interested in a wide range of topics in computer science including image/video processing techniques, distributed computing and programming in general. I’m a problem solver in nature, so I like to play with new ideas and write proof-of-concept programs, although I enjoy nothing more than shipping a quality system with a professional finish.
When I’m not at work, I really enjoy playing music, cycling, snowboarding and rock climbing!
